4 Warning Signs of Customer Churn
This is a quick presentation of churn risk signals that you can use to set up your account management dashboard.
1. Concentration Risk
One person is generating almost all of the activity on the account.
Fragile account because it depends on that one person's activity.
2. Feature Plateau
An account using one or two features heavily, consistently, for months, but never trying anything new.
Not an immediate churn risk, but the account is at risk if that one feature is unavailable.
3. Post-ticket Silence
Your worst-case scenario is a ticket that gets resolved, and then... nothing. No follow-up, no further activity, just quiet.
It's not the client that's angry, but the client that's gone quiet. That's the churn risk.
4. Stalled Integration
Most onboarding has a checklist: connect this, configure that, invite your team. A lot of dashboards track this as a static percentage. 60% complete. But how long has it been stuck at 60%?
An integration that's been stuck for a long time is one of the strongest churn signals.
